Cityfolk is a series that is made to replicate the feeling of walking down the street in a bustling city. What
are the quick glimpses of people, buildings, and moments that one might see? Each book is composed of
ordinary folks going about their day; capturing a momentary snapshot of who a person is or might in the
midst of busy lives.
These entries consist of two books that address the same idea, but with different
approaches. The first Cityfolk book is a leperllo foldbook with original illustrations of people and places
observed in Downtown Miami. The second book in this series, Cityfolk: A Stroll Through Downtown,
juxtaposes black and white film photography and with whimsical handmade illustrations.
