The Carpet Weed is Everywhere is a book about a small seed that can never bloom, so it goes around and waters weeds, or plants that are beautiful in other contexts but unwanted in others. This project is inspired by plants and animals local to South Florida, specifically weeds and invasive species. The book is hand-sewn with a coptic binding and uses gouache, watercolor, and ink.
